1. The U-bolt will be placed in the area that has a stock rope
attachment. Remove the stock attachment and replace bolts in holes to keep water tight.

**note; newer Hondas will not have separate bolts, it is one solid piece. In this case, either get bolts that will fit, or simply use duck tape to cover the holes)

Attach the U-bolt centered vertically between the two holes.

2. Stand on the PWC in an operating stance. On the port side, keep a mental note of the area where the back of your calf is.

3. Taking the seat off, drill a hole with a 3/16th drill bit to fit the two ends of the attachment rope through. The hole should be drilled underneath the edge of the seat in line of the area marked on the step before.

4. Undo the knot on the rope provided, leaving it threaded threw the webbing. Place both ends threw the drilled hole and tie an overhand knot on the inner hull keeping the rope in place.

** Note: the slack in the webbing should? it be too loose that it passes more that halfway down the side of the gunnels, but not to tight as it will engage the shackle unwontedly.
